Building Brotherhood: Avicenna's Men's Gatherings

University life is about more than lectures and assignments. It's also about building meaningful friendships and finding a supportive community. At Avicenna Wageningen, we organize a men-only gathering every two months to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among the male members of our association.

A Space for Brotherhood

Our men's gatherings provide a welcoming environment where members can connect, share experiences, and support one another. Each meeting is designed to encourage meaningful conversations and foster lasting friendships within the Muslim community at Wageningen.

Engaging Discussions

Every gathering includes discussions on topics that are relevant to men, ranging from personal development and faith to student life and everyday challenges. These conversations create an opportunity to learn from one another and grow together in a respectful and supportive atmosphere.

Fun Activities and Games

Brotherhood is built not only through conversations but also through shared experiences. Our gatherings often include games such as Uno and chess, which bring out plenty of friendly competition and laughter. Whether you're a strategic chess player or an Uno champion, there's always room to join in the fun.

Food and Adventures

No gathering is complete without good food! Depending on the occasion, we might:

  • Make homemade pizzas together.
  • Consuming snacks from the Supermarket
  • Enjoy a barbecue with the group.
  • Organize a city trip, such as a visit to Rotterdam.

These activities create memorable experiences and strengthen the friendships that make our community special.
